Paid vs. Organic Traffic
As your website’s visit count increases, so does its value. However, the acquisition methods for that traffic can greatly differ in cost and benefit. There are essentially two ways to drive traffic to your site: paid and organic.
Paid traffic allows you to pay to get people to visit your site. This can be done through various methods such as display advertising, sponsored content, or pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns. While paid search traffic can provide immediate results and attract high-value leads, it can also be expensive, especially for highly sought-after keywords. And once you stop paying, the direct traffic generally stops as well.
Organic search traffic is the result of people naturally discovering your site through search engine results. This type of traffic is highly valued because it’s free and tends to bring in visitors who are actively searching for what you offer. While it can take longer to build organic traffic, the results can be more sustainable and cost-effective in the long run.
